(3) Different working principles:
The former: single-screw rotor drives two symmetrically distributed star wheels to rotate. Screw groove and the inner wall of the casing form a closed chamber. Bring the air to the required pressure.

How does a twin screw air compressor work
A pair of rotors rotate in the airend casing. Thereby change the working volume. As a result, the air volume shrinks and its density increases. Finally increase the air pressure.
Its working process is divided into: inhale air, compression and exhaust. The rotors whirl. Then the teeth that mesh with each other complete the same work cycle successively.
Inhalation: At first, the air enters the rotors cavity volume. As the rotor turns, this volume continues to expand. When reaching the maximum value, the cavity volume and the suction hole port are disconnected. Then the inhalation process ends.
Compression stage of twin screw 10 hp 3 phase air compressor: The volume of the rotors cavity gradually decreases. This achieves the compression of the air. At the same time, lubricating oil is also sprayed into the compression chamber. These oils are mixed with air. When it is connected to the exhaust port again, the compression process ends.

Troubleshooting of 3 phase twin screw air compressor
(1) The air compressor runs at high temperature
When the operation temperature of 10 hp 3 phase air compressor exceeds 95°C, we can solve it in three steps:
① Firstly confirm whether the room temperature is within the allowable range. Then check to see if the compressor oil level is normal.
② Secondly, check whether the temperature measuring element is faulty. We can calibrate it with a hand-held temperature measuring instrument.
③ If there is no problem with the temperature measuring element, check the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the oil cooler. See if it is within the normal range of 5-8°C.
If the temperature difference is greater than this range, it means that the oil flow is insufficient. Or the oil line is blocked. It is also possible that the temperature control valve doesn’t open fully.
Please check the oil filter and thermostat valve. We can take the valve disc. Close one end of the thermostatic valve. Force the oil all through the cooler. If still not solve the problem, consider whether the oil circuit has blockage.
If it is less than the normal range, it means poor heat dissipation. Check if the radiator is too dirty. Or whether the cooling fan is abnormal.
If it is within the normal range, the 10 hp 3 phase twin screw air compressor is still high temperature. It means that the airend heat is beyond the normal range. Check for overpressure operation. Or verify that the oil is in good condition. It is also possible that there is a problem with the bearings.
(2) Air compressor does not unload
The unloading pressure set by the twin screw air compressor is 0.77MPa. The loading pressure is 0.66 MPa. That is, when the pipeline pressure reaches 0.77 MPa, the airend should unload. Sometimes it has reached 0.8MPa without unloading. So the pressure of oil and air in the separator will be too high. Then it will cause the air compressor safety valve to operate continuously. Because the set value of safety valve action is 0.86MPa. As a result, the oil and air mixture will spray out of 10 hp 3 phase screw air compressor.
Possible reasons are as follows:
① Is an unloading command on the computer;
② Does the solenoid valve in the control loop operates;
③ Whether the action of the diaphragm converter of the intake valve is flexible;
