Desiccant air dryer system can remove much more water than refrigerant dryer. Usually the dew point of refrigerated dryer is 2~10℃. But this heated desiccant air dryer is -40℃ dew point. This kind of adsorption air dryer is also different from heatless dryer. It adds an electric heater in the compressor dryer system. So it will consume less compressed air during regeneration. It is more energy efficient than heatless regenerative air dryer.
Usually we need add the inline air filters before micro heat desiccant dryer. They can remove water and oil vapors. So it will improve the lifetime of desiccant beads in the towers. Of course, there is also a refrigeration dryer in front. Because the desiccant air dryer system has requirement for intake dew point.
