There is a fact: In many industrial production, the demand for compressed air is variable. But conventional air compressors have only one speed. That is, they run at full load. Sometimes these demands are less. Thus it will consume and waste a lot of energy.
Similarly, most refrigerant type air dryer systems are inefficient to use. Besides, they consume a lot of electricity. So it does not meet the requirements of energy saving. We do not recommend inverter control if more than 200m³/min. Because it is greater than 200m³/min, our refrigerated air dryer system adopts a screw compressor. It has built-in energy regulation. In addition, we also don’t recommend a VSD air dryer when it’s less than 20m³/min. The energy-saving space is relatively small because its compressor power is not large. Besides, the VSD control system is relatively expensive.
If DC VSD refrigerated air dryer, it can save energy by 30%. And if AC type, it can save energy by 10~25%.
